I have the honour to inform you that the University of Hong Kong Medical Degrees Emergency Committee which was set up by the Hong Kong University (Medical Degrees)Order in Council, 1945, considers that the time has now come when the functions of the Committee could be terminated and the control of the Medical School be allowed to revert to the University as before.

I should be grateful therefore if you would arrange for the making of an Order of His Majesty in Council revoking the University of Hong Kong (Medical Degrees) Order in Council, 1945.
